Kerrie Ferguson, DC, NBC-HWC, is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Formerly a chiropractor, she became a coach in 2018, training at Duke Integrative Medicine, and drawing on her background in health and psychology to help clients address the issue of chronic stress on their wellbeing.

After working as a university wellness coach and seeing the immense impact it had on the quality of the students’ lives, Kerrie decided to make helping college students her focus. She specializes in working with ambitious female students, supporting them to make sustainable changes for their physical and emotional health.

Kerrie has been involved in the health and wellness space as a coach, chiropractor, personal trainer, and post-secondary instructor of various health-related topics. She’s married to a university professor and has two teenage children.

My Coaching Philosophy

I teach students about mental fitness, and the intersection of brain, body, and mind. Working within this holistic model, I help students create their path to wellbeing and happiness, working toward health goals, career ambitions, healthy relationships, and life goals.

My philosophy is that to be our best selves, mind and body will work in harmony. Our thoughts affect our physical body, and likewise conditions in our body influence our moods and thoughts. This feedback loop contributes to our health and mindset, affecting our overall wellbeing.

By teaching and coaching around mental fitness, I help young women develop resilience, better manage stress, and grow their self-confidence, so that they can start their adult lives and careers with purpose and confidence.
